FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I help clients from the ground up. I develop a program specifically structured for the clients needs. Based on their schedule, experience, and goals they are trying to attain. I implement a lot of my Stretch Lab knowledge into the beginning of my program, while also developing a nutrition plan and help the client start health habits or stop the unhealthy ones.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with NASM. Through NASM I have: -CPT, Certified Personal Trainer -CNC, Certified Nutrition Coach -WLS, Weight Loss Specialist I have two years working with StretchLab. Stretch Lab helps people develop overall mobility, align posture, and rehab/prevent injuries. I had to go through 200 hours of hands on training and online education before working with clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working out when I was 19 years old. Unfortunately I did not follow a structured plan at first and was constantly getting injured which made progress stall quite a bit. At 25 y/o I decided to get certified as personal trainer. This is where I learned the importance of body mechanics, nutrition strategies, and crating structured programs. At the time my sister worked at Fit Republic gym and she got me a job instantly as a trainer. Here I learned how to build a book of business, how to network on the gym floor and developed myself into a true fitness professional. After only 1 year of being certified, I decided to start my own business. This is where I started to build Cima Fitness. 4 years later I have helped over 50 clients with their fitness and health needs and I have the luxury of having a career that I am truly passionate about.
