Paul and the Black Diamond team were extremely professional, responsive, reliable, and fast once we got up and running on our paving project for a new driveway and patio, as well as a French drain install at our home in Oakland.Our project was ambitious, especially given our tight budget, and Paul did a great job working with us to tweak the designs, throw in additional items where he could, while working with the Black Diamond team to get us the best rate possible.Once we were up and running the crew the project went really smoothly, Paul was responsive to our questions, helped troubleshoot small issues that arose (Roots, existing drain pipes, etc.), and even checked in while he was out a few days on vacation.We'll look to use Black Diamond again in future projects for sure, thank you Paul and the Black Diamond team!

We reached to out Black Diamond about installing a backyard patio in June. It was a very smooth experience, from booking the initial consultation to completion in early August. The project lead, Paul, was awesome. Super knowledgeable about landscape design. We appreciated that he listened to what we looking for aesthetically and helped us find the pavers with the right look and at the right price point. Really responsive too. He probably answered a thousand questions from us over text and email. Enrique, the installer, did excellent, highly detailed work. We also appreciated how careful and conscientious he was about our vegetable garden next to the work area. Paul and Enrique also helped us solve a few other issues in the yard too (moving a water spigot, removing old concrete debris, etc). It was obvious that Paul and Enrique are experts at this and take pride in their work. I know this was a smaller project by their standards but we appreciated the level of attention and service. We're really happy with the experience and the result.

I contracted Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape to rebuild my driveway and walkway, and add extra parking. They came in at a great price for the scope of work and they did an expert job, everything was done the right way, no cutting corners. My project manager, Peter, said what he would do, then did what he said. It was wonderful. Peter created the design with just some input from me, and it was better than I imagined!! I really liked how they changed the angle of the pavers on the porch and walkway, and the extra parking area too. They manage their crews very efficiently, which was a great benefit to me, because they came in on budget and on time. They are very knowledgeable about their work, which gave me great confidence in the results. I am extremely satisfied with their work and processes and I plan to hire them again. I have already contacted Peter for more jobs! I highly recommend them.I took a lot of night time photos, because I loved the way it looked :)

After a long awaited landscape update, our yard is beautiful. Our experience of working with Tyler, Fernando and their team was outstanding from day one.Tyler listened to our design ideas, colors of plants and turned our ideas and his into a beautiful organic design. He said the job would take two weeks and in five days it was completed! They never stopped working from the first day.We love the lighting, boulders and rocks. One of our neighbors thanked us for increasing the value of their home with our new landscaping. Two neighbors asked for Tyler's phone number.It was so nice to hire this team and know that they actually cared about us, the customer.Thank you Tyler, Fernando and Black Diamond Pavers team for our yard. Mike Gurtler and Oscar transformed our yard/dirt field into a space that we can truly enjoy. From the beginning, we worked with Mike to turn the ideas in my head into a workable design. Then Oscar and his team showed up and got the actual work done more quickly than I anticipated. It turned out exactly how I imagined, and the quality is well worth the price.
