Introduction

I've been dog sitting, cat sitting, and doing all kinds of pet care for over twenty years. I have a strong bond with animals, and am familiar with most breeds of dogs. I've taken care of hundreds of dogs in my petsitting career. I also adore cats and am always willing to pamper kitties, too. I work with a cat rescue, and have saved countless stray cats, kittens, and "feral" felines. I have excellent references and am able to travel outside of San Jose. By hiring me, you only have to deal with one person, and not a 3rd party. My petsitting is for overnight care only. However, sometimes I do drop ins if needed. As mentioned, I have excellent references and a steady client base. My rates are fair and I truly believe pet care is the same as child care. I'm reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and passionate about helping animals in every way possible. I was a little nervous about having someone i didn’t know personally come into my house to care for my dogs while i was away, but as soon as i met Jared i was put at ease. He was great with my little elderly dogs. They aren’t good with new people but he was patient and caring. Super responsive and i definitely appreciated his check-ins and updates throughout our trip. He went above and beyond when i got a delivery i wasn’t expecting, and helped unpack and put away the items that needed to be refrigerated. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him for pet sitting and definitely plan to hire him again in the future!

Jared, was great! We hired him to doggie sit 2 of my mother-in-laws doggies. His communication/texting/sharing pictures and knowledge of dogs was excellent. I would highly recommend his services. His meet and greet was a good visit to connect and make sure everyone gets along. He even left a thank you card and 3 doggies toys when he completed the job. 5 star man. We will hire him again!! Highly recommended doggie sitter.

Jared took great care of our two puppies and our house! Before the actual stay, he came by another time to really get to know us and our dogs. He was easy to contact and sent regular updates and pics of our dogs. He even framed a picture of them and left it for us. How thoughtful. I charge the market rate. However, it can sometimes change so I base my prices on what information is available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am fair, honest, and conversational. I want my customers to know my interests, hobbies, and overall experience with animals. Additionally, I want to know as much as I can about them, and their pups.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Various specific animal training; however, I've yet to be certified.
