Introduction

I am an avid dancer and choreographer and have over 25 years of dance and performance experience in many styles including ballet, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, salsa, bachata, and ballroom. As a teacher, I am very good at seeing exactly what students need to do to improve their movement and articulating those things in a way even students with no dance background can understand. One of my greatest joys is sparking a love for dance in my students and watching them improve.

My husband and I have been dancing with Whitney for a few months now and we are happy with everything so far! She is kind, professional, and very easy to work with. Just as important, she is very accommodating to our varying dance skill levels and musicality which can be tricky when working with a couple. She’s great in telling us when we’re doing something right, but she’s also honest when she notices something off with our steps or movements. But she has a very gentle — and sometimes funny — way of telling you that and how to make corrections. With her honesty and ability to meet us where we are, our dance skill levels definitely improved in just a few months. Overall, Whitney is a great dance instructor and we’re beyond happy to be working with her.
