The world would be a better place if every pro were as professional as Isaac.
Our interaction started over the phone, when he patiently listened to my story of the issue I faced (a smart lock installation gone wrong) and then set an appointment time for the next day, complete with a very structured set of options he planned to explore to resolve my issue.
Then when he was here, he showed a relentlessness that I appreciated greatly. He was unwilling to accept that my smart lock couldn't be made to work, and he worked diligently and methodically to resolve the small alignment problems that had created the issues I'd seen. I followed his directions to test rigorously at every step. Whenever I showed any nervousness (the front door is very important, after all), he was very clear: "don't worry, I won't leave until you are completely satisfied."
But my favorite line of the whole interaction was at the end, after I'd tested the lock a bunch:
"Is everything working?"
"Yeah, everything seems good."
"Is it good? Or is it perfect?"
That level of commitment to quality is not something you see very often at all. It was incredibly reassuring.
Isaac is a gem, and I hope I have the opportunity to give him my business again!
