FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is usually straightforward, I usually collect via Venmo or Paypal after each lesson but a monthly payment plan can be worked out upon request. My only "fee" would be my 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Any lesson cancelled last-minute are generally charged, but if you can communicate before the 24 hour mark these schedule changes are done for free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is the "getting to know you" lesson. We'll discuss your personal goals regarding the bass as well as gauging your abilities to see what material will be a good fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Bass Performance from the Berklee College of Music and 5+ years of teaching bassists in individual/group settings. | I've also worked as a Bass Clinician in a variety of Elementary/Middle/High schools throughout the Bay Area.
