I have been a Deputy Marriage Commissioner for the City and County of San Francisco since Sept. 2016. In this volunteer role, I have officiated 100+ weddings. I am also registered with American Marriage Ministries as a Minister. My focus is creating a beautiful and timeless ceremony for the couple where the officiant is in the background and the couple is front and center.

My husband and I had an intimate wedding at Jax Vineyards in SOMA, SF. Dyanna was our officiant and she was truly amazing! She was very professional and prepared. She arrived exactly on time and made the whole wedding party so much fun. She filed our marriage certificate for us and made the entire process so easy. We were so grateful for her! If I could give her more stars I would! I would highly recommend Dyanna!

Dyanna was the officiant at our SF City Hall wedding in Fall of last year, and we couldn't be happier to have had her with us on the big day! Dyanna is a great communicator through email, phone, and text. She provided a template wedding script to match the tone of the ceremony that we wanted. The script was sent as soon as we agreed to work together; having the script months in advance of the wedding was a tremendous help that gave us enough time to think deeply about what we wanted to say. Dyanna wasn't just a passive observer with the script; she helped us with personalization by listening and understanding our wishes. She helped us plan the timing and organization of the ceremony by performing a dry run of the ceremony script a few weeks before the ceremony. Dyanna's familiarity with City Hall was critical in planning our layout and navigating the halls of City Hall on the day of the ceremony. She was so accommodating and arrived early on our wedding day to help us with a final practice before the actual event. Dyanna provided a calming presence that reassured us that the day would go smoothly. She remined us to gather witness signatures for the marriage license, which would have slipped my mind otherwise. After the ceremony, Dyanna was professional and prompt with filing the marriage license and providing clear follow up directions. What really stood out to me was that Dyanna facilitated our ceremony rather than inserting herself. She allowed us to be the stars of our wedding and knew where to stand and what to say (and what not to say) so that we could take center stage. I would not hesitate to recommend Dyanna to anyone looking for an officiant to help guide them through this first big step towards happily ever after.

Dyanna was such a wonderful officiant! She was informative and helpful with the process from start to finish. We opted for the assistance with our vow writing process which helped to ensure that our vows were similar in energy and time. During the ceremony she was audible and clear, which was a huge help in a busy space such as SF City Hall. We can't thank you Dyanna enough for making our wedding ceremony a smooth event!
