Introduction
People tennis lessons are not necessary to play tennis, simply a few good tips and one is off and running. Most returning players only need partners and playing opportunities and spend lots of time finding players partners or directing them to playing opportunities. I am also a high performance coach which most entails fitness and mental training, I was ACE certified a number of years back, now TRX and TRX MODIFIED and also for rehab a ROCKTAPE certified. I discovered my passion late and enjoy the satisfaction of getting people on the court and having fun. It is a recreation not a job and one of goals is show how to have fun and learn

My friend and I took our first ever tennis lesson. We are absolute beginners - John was very receptive and adapted the lesson based on our playing. He was on the court on time, before we arrived. We are definitely excited about playing more tennis now that we have someone to guide us!

To my fellow tennis players colleagues: If you want a true customized lesson session. for your game, John is the man! He analyzes you in a broad scope - away from the bread and butter repetition, i.e. “elbows here”, “shoulders there”. Johns have a passion to train ourselves to be our own coach. His methodology not only solves our problem with tennis, but empowers us to learn how to think to be a better tennis player, not only a better tennis student. And above all - John is a nice gentleman and a wonderful person. I really look forward to see him again next time I come to the Bay Area!

John is a great coach, sets realistic and personalized goals for lessons, and most importantly is teaching me to be independent and confident in playing tennis.

John is a phenomenal coach and all around guy. I was nervous at first since it had been so long since i was on the court but he instantly put me at ease. He has a fantastic eye for catching small problems with your mechanics and never over complicates his instruction. Very excited to continue to work with him.
