Introduction

I enjoy making people look and feel their best. I will gladly make unique costumes & custom garments, but I prefer to redesign, tailor and restore existing and vintage garments. I have taught costuming in a professional environment and have worked with private clients (both human & canine) in a variety of capacities. I enjoy collaboration and I'm equally glad to realize specific ideas/designs.

Jayne was amazing. Super thorough and super passionate, we had to make a custom designed hammock for our dog in the back seat of our car (we had to shorten the one we bought on amazon to make it fit next to the baby seat) and she did a phenomenal job. She came over a few times for fitting, she was always nice, careful (wore a mask. COVID!) and very kind. On top of that she did such an awesome work that the pup loves to sleep in the back hammock.

The only way to describe working with Jayne is: incredible. I am always weary when it comes to alterations because it can only go one of two ways; great or terrible. The second that I met Jayne and walked into her place, I knew she was great. She was such a pleasure to work with and hang out with honestly, as I tried on my jumpsuit for my wedding. I thought I would need more alterations, but i only needed some hemming. She made it so easy and had great ideas. I also bought a separate cape and she was able to alter it, attach it to my jumpsuit securely, and make it easily removable. I don't think I need to search for anyone else to do alterations ever again.

Jayne is a great person who also happens to be a great tailor. She helped me patch some worn pants from biking, bring down sleeves on a jacket with unusual construction, and tailor a few shirts. Everything was ready when I needed it, and I am grateful to have worked with her.

Bravo! Jayne is amazing at her craft. She seriously impressed me altering my gown for my sons wedding and my very pregnant daughter’s gown. The dresses were beaded and complicated and when she returned them, they not only fit perfectly but you couldn’t tell they were altered. She has this immediate instinct on what needs to be done to make the dress fit exactly the way it was designed. They fit like they were tailored for us. Besides being experienced and professional, she is easy-going and makes you feel so comfortable working with her. I can’t wait to have her work with us again on our next special occasion. Our doggie loves hers too! 😊
