Learn South American Spanish with Joel

¡Hola! I’m Joel Saltos, a native Spanish speaker from the coastal city of Manta, Ecuador. I’ve been helping students from around the world — including the U.S. — learn Spanish for over four years through fun, immersive, and conversational lessons. Whether you’re looking to improve your fluency, prep for travel, or just have meaningful conversations, I make learning Spanish feel natural and enjoyable. My style is relaxed and tailored to your goals. I use presentations (Canva is my jam!), games, and real-life situations to help you absorb the language in a way that sticks. I work with both adults and kids, and I especially love helping intermediate to advanced learners break through to the next level. Outside of teaching, I’m all about music and movement — I dance salsa and bachata, play soccer, and love spending time by the beach. My lessons reflect that vibe: energetic, laid-back, and real.
