FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer complimentary 30-minute trial lessons for prospective students! If it's a good fit, let's go from there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A first lesson is an explorative process that helps us to define the kind of work we will do together in lessons. Typically, I like to start with hearing you sing a song that you feel you sing pretty well to get a feel for your technique, artistry, etc. (If you don't have a song yet, we can pick you one!) From there, I'll give you some pointers and see if we can make it a little easier. Next, I like to talk about your personal goals for your singing, and then tailor our lesson times to help support your long and short term singing goals in a way that fits your lifestyle!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Florida, a Masters in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Professional Studies Diploma in Historical Performance (Baroque) from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I was the intern for education with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra for 2 years.
