MacDaddy is my Superhero! My computer was a mess! Crashes, freezes, odd messages...etc That was before Pete Avila came to work on it. Pete did a great job of explaining what he thought was going on with my machine, as he was working on it. I am a long time Mac user but Pete was able to show me some new shortcuts and ways to keep my files organized. I will gladly recommend Pete to anyone who is having computer problems.

I recommend Pete very highly. I dropped a glass of water on my MacAir (keyboard) and needed to retrieve data and get the laptop working. After going to Apple store and them recommending services - the total bill was expected to be around $2500 or so far more than a new one- That said, my backups failed and thus needed mine fixed. I found Pete on thumbtack and he was terrifice. 1 Responsive to my inquiry. 2. Diagnosed the problem in layman's terms and explained course of action. 3. Provided price per hour and general estimate. 4. After selecting him (reviewed three others and none came close to Pete's knowledge and real person demeanor) he met me at a place of my choosing and general time, started work right away, forecast certain difficulties he would face - and they came true - then tackled more serious issues during the fix and managed them well all the while communicating with me what he was doing, why, how much time he would spend. In the end, he helped bypass the need to through Apple to fix the entire computer and for about less than 1/2 the cost it would have through them. Pete is very professional and personable, honest, gets the work done while all the while letting you know what's happening - I wish more people i knew did their job this way! The morning following logging off, my screen would not come up. Pete carefully and thoughtfully guided me through the remote procedure he was to use to restore my computer. He did that and removed malware to ensure the computer ran at optimum. He also made a folder for my desktop clutter, so start up is quicker. He showed me a few tricks I will be able to use in the future. Thanks Pete!

Our Imac fell off a chair and dislodged the RAM. Not only was he able to get it back up and running, he made sure it was working at optimal speed He also shared some additional "apple" insights that we were completely unaware of. If you have an apple device and need help, Pete's your guy.
