I saw Jeremy for my first-ever Thai massage. He has a space on Haight Street that he works out of, which is where I met him for our 95 minute session. Jeremy was really detailed in his instructions for preparing for the massage and getting to the space, as well as explaining what a Thai massage was like and what I could expect, so I felt totally comfortable. The massage itself was incredible, and I left feeling amazing and relaxed.

It was exactly what I was looking for. During a rather stressful time of year trying to balance work, family, friends, last minute Christmas shopping, and whatever other personal drama that seems to erupt during the holidays, arriving at Jeremy's studio was a perfect little escape. Though it was my first session, his recommended, Thai Yoga Massage, literally felt like what he said it would: “specifically designed to open up the body's skeletal system and energy lines to increase flexibility and circulation, encouraging the body's innate healing processes. It relieves muscular tension and energy blockages, releasing stress and stored emotion”. Having been to Thailand recently and experienced the full on aggressive full body Traditional Thai massages, Jeremy's blend of pressure and stretching made for a much needed strong but equally relaxing 95 minutes. Everything about it was very soothing, nurturing, calming, and healing. I’d felt a lot of anxiety and pain that had built up in my back and shoulders over the past couple of months and after leaving I just feel lighter and can breathe a little easier. And, I don’t know if it was candles or incense burning but it smelled really good, and not in an overpowering way. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely recommend Jeremy. If you’re on the fence about it at all, I’d say try it. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I will definitely go back.

Should you get a Thai massage and/or yoga lesson from Jeremy because he is a grand master wizard and teaches you how to do flying crow poses and makes you feel better about regrettable life decisions like a long early morning bike ride after a night of heavy drinking? The answer is yes.

They call Thai massage the lazy man's yoga, and I can really see why after my session with Jeremy. My body felt so loosened up after our session, I felt like I could run a marathon. I booked a 1 1/2 hour session with Jeremy. He had a nice-feeling vibe to his office in the Lower Haight/ Alamo Square area. He put on some great music that helped me tune the whole world out... so good I asked him for the names of several tracks afterward. First Jeremy worked on my upper body, working minor stressed out of my joints and wrists, (which felt great considering how much I'm on the computer). I love that this particular style of massage puts so much emphasis in opening up the available movement in the body. I think this is what makes it so special. It was revitalizing and energizing on top of being relaxing. The lower body really was an amazing experience. Jeremy began moving my legs around, stretching out the joints. Within ten minutes my entire body was tingling with the energy that he was able to free up. Literally vibrating. The feeling of well-being was intensely obvious. I highly recommend Jeremy to anyone that wants to feel more vital. His knowledge of body mechanics was impressive and I appreciate his intuitive movements.
