- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On average, murals cost $30 per square foot. Price varies based on materials and project details. Most projects range from $2500-5k. An initial 50% deposit is required upon agreement of the work and budget. Discounts are usually offered to non-profits and philanthropic efforts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send pics of your space, maybe even a video. Also include your project ideas, preferred subject matters, styles, colors and any inspiring images for reference. Exact measurements of the space are also helpful. Shannon will develop sketch ideas, colors, and materials for your review, along with an estimate and pricing based on the scope of the project. She paints for an average of 6 hours a day starting at 10 am. Most projects take from 4 to 6 days to complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Shannon attended St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California, graduating with a degree in Art. After graduation, her love of painting and adventure took her on a two-year journey throughout Europe where she studied in Florence at Studio Art Centers International SACI.
