On such a short notice after our first movers had failed to show, we contacted National Expert Movers and within an instant they accommodated our needs. We were so distressed with the other individuals lack of accountability and agreed to move forward. They came within an hour and a half and got eight to work. We were very impressed by their professionalism and empathy towards our other movers canceling. They wrapped our fragile items in plastic wrap and handled all of our boxes with care. Moves are never easy but National Expert Movers made our lives 10x better. Thank you so, so, much!

I tried to ask them for a refund privately but since they are not answering to get this resolved i’ll now be reporting the charge to my bank and getting a lawyer involved. I think it’s important to share my experience on their page to make sure no one else has to deal with this nonsense. Do not be mislead by this company. There absolutely are hidden fees. Do not hire them if you are moving 10+ miles. Despite the total time of only 5 hours, I was billed 8 hours of work. They have no proof they told me this or any documentation showing I was told I would be charged a fee. They are SCAMMERS. They advertise “NO HIDDEN FEES” but fail to mention this to you. They started at 1:45pm and finished around 6:50pm. Even after giving them my drop off location they didn’t tell me about the double billing regulations. Also why isn’t this mentioned in your thumbtack profile? Why isn’t this mentioned when I contact you on thumbtack about your services or when I give your the load up and load off addresses? I spoke to someone on 4/20 and the only thing that was mentioned to me was the 3 hour minimum, he asked me where i was moving to and if i had any big heady duty items (like a piano). i told him san jose and nothing heavy duty just regular furniture. He even asked me how much stuff and I said only 1 bedroom and a bathroom. He never mentioned the double charge of 10+ miles otherwise i would have not gone through with it. I asked him if it took less than 3 hours if it would still be $390 and he said yes since its the minimum. He then told me if i wanted to book i would need to pay a deposit that would go towards the total. I asked him if there was any other fees and he said no and i confirmed it was $130 an hour. So they knew the distance of my move and didn’t think to tell me. They are falsely advertising no hidden fees and I will be taking them to small claims court to sue them. So instead of charging me the 3 hour minimum plus the additional 2 hours (5 hours) they basically charged me the 3 hour minimum PLUS an additional 5 hours (8 hours). One of the movers also damaged my wall when moving into my new apartment with their equipment. When I pointed it to him he shrugged his shoulders and said “no big deal” and walked off saying something in Russian. Didn’t even apologize. I offered them bottles of water since it was so hot, let them use my bathroom in my brand new apartment. And I couldn’t even get the same kindness of an apology for damaging something that wasn’t theres. Even if it’s small, its the principle and the “professionalism” you advertise from your movers. They tried to charge me $940 (with the deposit deducted) instead of the actual $550 and after arguing with them they only gave me a discount of 1 hour off so i was forced to pay $810. I only ended up paying cause they wouldn’t leave my apartment until I did and didn’t feel comfortable with them being there anymore. I got scammed out of $260. I put aside $600 for the movers to cover my balance and to tip the rest to the movers cause I knew it wouldn’t be no where near 8 hours of paid time. They wanted me to pay the $600 and then pay the rest later on my next pay date. I just wanted them out my apartment, I paid so they could leave. I also see from their other negative reviews, Im not the only one who was misled by them and after the review i found on yelp Im worried that they have my address since i will be filing a case against them. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM AND MAKE SURE THEY PUT EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU IN WRITING VIA MESSAGE. MAKE SURE THEY ARE HONEST ABOUT THEIR TOTAL PRICING. DONT COMMUNICATE WITH THEM OVER THE PHONE OR AT ALL! SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING AND DONT BE AFRAID TO REPORT THEM. I’ll be printing all these screenshots for the court to prove they are falsely advertising and never disclosed their fee of double charging for moves over 10 miles until AFTER the job is done. For a company that advertises professionalism, this whole situation was the opposite. Will never book again, be careful people. I recommend working with “Royal Movers” if you’re moving in Tracy. They were my second choice and should have went with them instead.
