FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Middle school and high school students require different levels of expertise, methods, and personableness. Because of this, I ensure that the rates accurately reflect the value of the tutoring experience. Middle school tutoring is set at $45, and high school tutoring is set at $65. SAT test prep is also set at $65 indefinitely.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start with a consultation to make sure that the parents can give me as much information as possible to ensure that every session optimizes their goals and needs. Some parents will opt to bypass the consultation. I operate on a first-come-first serve booking basis. If parents are interested in consistent tutoring at set times and days, that is something that can be discussed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a major in Biochemistry, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Spanish. I am incredibly passionate about how science and math rule our world. I believe that EVERYONE is teachable, and I mean everyone. I have worked with adolescents with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, aversions to learning, etc. and I have never failed to get them at the same level as someone who is "naturally smart." Everyone can be an "A" student.
