FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's pretty basic. I charge $250 an hour. Birthday parties run over an hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take classes constantly. Lately I've settled into classes with a theatre company called Fools Fury. This is very complex movement training. I fail a lot but love it. I also do a lot of improvisational comedy. It makes me very sharp when I perform. A few times a year I'll take an acting class. Acting is not how I make a living but I like that I can challenge myself as a performer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to be a clown from the time I saw Bozo the clown when I was 5. My mother took me to see the show in San Jose. I always wanted to be a clown. I had the privilege of training at Ringling Brothers Clown college. I've had the privilege of doing this for a very long time.
