- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we get a new customer it starts with the call. We always make our customer feel welcomed at Junk Xpress. We ask key questions to identify what items they have and then explain our pricing and how we work. After that, we find out what days and time they are available for pickup. The last step is completing the job. We make sure to give a 30-45 minute call ahead and always show up on time. We confirm the estimate then start loading up our truck.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this work for 5 years, so I have gained a lot of knowledge about this industry. From booking the job to actually doing the job I am confident in my ability to make sure it gets done in the most efficient way possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing junk hauling a few years back because the idea of it intrigued me. To this day I still love what I do. I go around getting to meet people and share stories while doing the job. I love the feeling I get when a customer thanks me for helping them with a situation they couldn’t handle. It gives me a sense of pride every time I leave a job.
