We’ve used H&T Flooring on two occasions to lay & finish red oak hardwood in our kitchen and then later in our master bedroom. We have 50+ year old red oak in the rest of our home and H&T Flooring did a great job matching the wood tones in the rest of the house. H&T’s quote was on par with other quotes we received but their knowledge and responsiveness set them apart from the competition.

Michael was great to work with! His crew was punctual, thorough, and fast! They removed carpeting and baseboards, installed new hardwood flooring and reinstalled the baseboards, in two rooms in one day. His crew did a great job communicating with me throughout the process. Michael and his team installed SPC floor in my apartment. It has been a few months now, not only I am pleased with the result, I got lots of compliment on the new flooring. They are super easy to work with (I think I am the difficult one) The communication is clear and timely, and their work style is very efficient. Some heavy dust to clean up after the work, but they already made it clear upfront.

I hired them based on their great reviews on both Thumbtack, Google, and Facebook. They went above and beyond my expectations. Please see the pictures for before/after the work. I am returning what I owe to this community by sharing my experience with H&T flooring. Project: The project was to replace carpet with engineered hardwood for 2,100 sq ft including living room, kitchen, 2 hallways, ~40 stair steps, den, master bedroom, and master closet. This was our first time replacing flooring materials so I didn't know what to expect when I initiated the project. I got a quote from 5 different contractors and hired H&T flooring due to 3 reasons: 1) Mike seemed to be great at what he's doing. He was effective in measurements, clear in communications, and shared the most comprehensive breakdowns of price. He was quick in estimating the numbers in his heads and later shared the accurate numbers after we picked a few options. Based on his work quality, I estimated that his peers would be great or at least decent in their jobs (it turned out they are also great). 2) the reviews are great in every platform I looked them up. I looked up the most negative reviews too. Work quality: Excellent. The installed engineered hardwood floors are even and well fitted to the corners and doors. You can check out the finished products in the attached pictures. I had a few minor requests at the end of projects which weren't a part of the original spec and they gladly addressed them. The project lasted for 7 days and I lived in the same unit during the construction so I saw exactly what was happening. Lucas was great at sharing the status and showing the next steps every day. There were also turns and twists because I didn't know I had concretes underneath my carpet and they were not leveled. The installation method had to be changed from nail down to glue and it had to be leveled. After I consent to the change, they quickly adapted to the situation. Professionalism: They (Lucas, Alex, the third person whom I forgot his name) worked hard and maintained a high morale throughout the construction. They were punctual on the arrival time on every morning. Our furniture was intact despite we left some of them for them to move around due to their size and weight. They cleaned the construction size. Our garage and patio even became cleaner after the construction compared to its prior state. When someone visits my house, I can't help but scanning how clean they are (especially their shoes as I don't wear shoes at home). Among all contractors visited my home (beyond this project), they were the cleanest professionals I have seen. Their shoes are clean and their clothes are clean. It takes a deliberate efforts to maintain cleanliness for someone who deals with dust all the time. Most of all, I was really inspired by their positive attitudes through the construction. Human emotions are contagious and I really enjoyed having them around even though I couldn't wait to see the finished product. Responsiveness: Just like many other reviewed pointed out, Mike is great in responding to my questions and answered all of them without missing any. Lucas also answered many of my questions through out construction. I will definitely hire them again.
