Edri construction is a direct execution contractor for construction projects, overseeing the entire process from start to finish. Unlike companies that outsource, we have the unique ability to manage the entire process in-house. Our extensive experience offers complete home remodeling, including kitchen and bathroom renovations, successful ADU projects, home office and garage conversions. We guide you through each crucial step of the special inspections and permit process. And we are also greatly experienced in seismic retrofitting and roofing. So from the foundation of the structure to its top, we handle the entire construction, remodeling, and renovation work and you are welcome to contact us to receive a project quote. Please note the following: - Our minimum labor cost for all projects is $10,000. - We do not work on projects involving homeowner's insurance claims.

We engaged with Edri construction to perform a full model of our small kitchen in a 1925 San Francisco Fourplex. I would consider this a challenging project as we had limited space to work with and wanted to build in more counter/cabinet space while also adding in a washer,/dryer, dishwasher and replacing other appliances. This required all new electrical and plumbing. The team was unfazed by the scope and was ready to start following week. From the outset, the process was highly organized making decisions simple and hands-off as possible for us. They immediately sought out all required permits while keeping us informed on the important details only and handling all the permitting minutia themselves David and his team completed every aspect of the job with pride and precision. The team were true masters in their trades and completed all parts of the job from plumbing electrical drywall appliance installation tiling – everything from start to finish. They were also friendly and took extreme care to protect all common areas. The kitchen came out great with any instance where we had a follow up adjustment, they always took the time to fix it until we were happy. Communication was outstanding. On top of everything else, each interaction with this company was an absolute pleasure. Everyone who worked on our kitchen obviously took tremendous pride in their work from demolition to completion. We Would highly recommend Edri Constucion for a top-knotch kitchen remodel.

The estimator was brusque and not at all collaborative. I had two projects. My exterior wood stairs needed a repair. He said they didn’t repair because they would be responsible for the entirely of the 3 story stair case - engineering and construction. They would only tear it all down and rebuild the whole thing. This was a one day project and although I respect job minimums, he could have just said this. My second project involved a shower leaking into the floor below. He assessed the job from below subfloor (where I had opened the ceiling) and pronounced that the installation had been done without waterproofing. It was all fine with permits. When I said the waterproofing would be applied above the area we were looking at and impossible to see he said “well it could be black or it could be red. They go on different sides.” Huh? When we got to the shower itself he said our only solution was to remove all the tile in the pan and in the bathroom and redo all of it since we had no idea where the leak was coming from. No discussion of a plumbing test on inlet or outlet. No discussion of a pan leak test to rule in/out that specific area. Nope - all new tile. The whole thing. I won’t bother with him being half an hour late and going to the wrong address. And I certainly understand the desire to bid jobs that have enough money behind them. But he seemed fairly clueless, ensuring that when it’s time to do that big job….these guys won’t get the call.

Due to structural concerns, we cannot perform partial repairs on the staircase without proper engineering plans. A complete rebuild is necessary to ensure safety and compliance with standards. For bathroom work, we only undertake jobs with the necessary permits. This includes obtaining a permit, city inspections, and ensuring proper waterproofing, which may involve fixing any rot, leaks and redoing the bathroom.
