FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary by the size and scope of the project. All of our prices include rough materials, labor, and taxes. When it’s come to finished material (cabinets, tiles, flooring, etc.), we offer our customers a contractor discount of 5%-20% when purchasing through our vendor network.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
OUR 5 SIMPLE STEPS PROCESS: FREE CONSULTATION Whether you know what you want or you’re still thinking it through, our remodeling consultants will meet with you in your home, inspect the space for remodeling, and walk you through the process. PLANING AND SCHEDULING Once you’ve decided to move forward, we’ll meet with you again to finalize the scope of the project and schedule. PRE CONSTRUCTION Renovating in the Bay Area often requires permits. This can sometimes delay the start of the project, which can throw homeowners off guard (does not apply to private houses and some apartments buildings). Luckily, our Project Managers have the expertise to spot these early on in the process and obtain the necessary permits in advance. In the next step, your Project Manager (PM) will guide you through the selection of materials. While you are working on finalizing the design of your project, our PM will work behind the scenes to have your project reviewed and approved by the Home Owners Association (HOA), and on securing the relevant permits. PRODUCTION Once we have the approved permits and the materials handy, we can begin the home remodeling project. Throughout production, your PM will facilitate communication between you, the team, and any other professionals involved. COMPLETION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE When the project is close to being completed, your PM will walk through the construction site with you and create a “touch-up” list. This will be your opportunity to point out anything that still requires some attention. Once the list is compiled, the team will go through the list and apply the touch ups necessary to successfully complete your home remodeling project.
