Gareth was very professional and worked with us on doing some of the work ourselves like baseboards & removal of existing carpets. We picked out the flooring & baseboards and used him for the installation of the vinyl planks which helps with the savings. Be sure to shop around for thicker 6mm-8mm planks as that is the most important step for lasting flooring. You can feel the difference in durability and well worth the investment. The end result was beautiful!

Gareth came in an laid our lvp planks in our guest bedroom and bathroom. Gareth let me know I would need to take the carpet, carpet pad, and carpet tacks out because of time constraints on his end due to my last minute need for flooring. He also let me know he could remove the baseboards for an extra fee and I said I would take care of it. As I was taking out the carpet, pad, and tacks, I unfortunately forgot about the baseboards. So, when Gareth arrived he thought leaving the baseboards on was intentional (customer preferences) and starting laying the planks. After the project, we noticed space between the planks and the baseboards and when we removed the baseboards to change them we saw it was larger than normal. I contacted him because of the space and he told me that he thought we were putting quarter rounds in the leftover space since the baseboards weren't removed originally. Gareth had other projects so sadly he couldn't come and fix the space, so we had to hire someone else to fill in the extra space and get creative. He understood the miscommunication on both ends so he provided us a partial refund to help cover the cost. I appreciated the post communication with Gareth; I was able to see where I could have communicated better (verbiage regarding "take care of it" vs "remove") and he saw what he could add in conversation to ensure there is no miscommunication on subjects like baseboards for future clients.

We needed to lay LVP in our office, which had extremely uneven floors. Gareth responded to my inquiry within minutes, and set up a time to give us a quote. He came as promised and reviewed the issues, clearly explaining his plan for leveling and installing the flooring. He later sent a very reasonable estimate and we were happy to move forward. He completed the work in no time at all, and now we have a beautiful (and level) floor. He’s polite and professional, and should more projects arise, we will be calling him again!
