Irina, with eSEOspace, was not able to clearly explain how spending X dollars on marketing services would likely result in Y of revenue. In other words, she was not able to provide any reasonable expectation regarding return on investment (ROI). Rather, she made vague references to other marketing work she has done, how long she has been in business, and how the process has gone with other clients. She did not seem to be interested in working with me to develop a custom solution to meet my business's unique needs. All she offered was SEO keyword marketing--basically pay-per-click advertising--and expected to be paid regardless of performance. She specifically declined to do any affiliate marketing, or accept any other pay-for-performance or performance-based compensation. She admitted helping start-ups to start their businesses, and giving them advice about starting LLCs, etc., despite not being a lawyer. Providing legal advice, without a license to practice law, is illegal--not to mention irresponsible. For the foregoing reasons, I declined to hire eSEOspace, and I recommend being very cautious in your approach to dealing with them. If you have a big budget, and you don't mind paying for advertising, without any guarantee (or even a clear expectation) of any particular ROI, this might be a good fit for you. If you're looking for someone who is interested in working for performance-based compensation, eSEOspace is probably a bad fit for you (unless they have made some serious changes to their business model after this review was written). EDIT / UPDATE: In the "pro's" response to this review, she alleged I "demonstrated no respect towards" her, but that is patently false. At no time was I disrespectful or unkind. I simply asked her to explain to me why I should spend money on her services. She then became very defensive and hostile. Calling me "mean"--or engaging in name-calling, in general--is not a professional way to respond to this review. Finally, continuing to contact me, after I asked her not to, is unacceptable.
