Noah Greene Piano

Hey there! My name is Noah Greene. I'm a classically trained pianist and began my musical journey 18 years ago when I had my first piano lesson. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Music Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Piano Performance at Columbia University in the City of New York. My teaching career began in high school; I designed an after school program at Explorer Elementary Charter School where I gave ukulele lessons to students, who then performed as a group to raise money for a Malaria fund. I specialize in classical piano, but am happy to incorporate concepts from jazz, neo-soul, R&B, and other contemporary styles in my teaching. My technique and pedagogy is heavily informed by the Taubman technique, a set of movement principles developed for efficient and healthy piano playing. I have over four years of teaching experience and am excited to work with you!
