I have been fortunate enough to experience a few dining events curated by Plates by Payne. Each time both the food and experience has been exquisite. Nathan is extremely professional and communicative. You can taste the passion he has for cooking and quality of ingredients. I have never had an experience like it outside of a fine dining restaurant and thought it was very unique to have such amazing food in a personal setting and to get such a one on one experience with the chef. Overall I would highly recommend giving it a try and experiencing it yourself.

Chef Nathan provided a 5 star chef experience. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent! We had a group of 9 for two evenings. They set up the table beautifully and left the kitchen very clean for us. I highly recommend his service as it is top notch! Very professional. Thanks Chef Nathan!

We hired Plates By Payne for four dinners during a family vacation in Escondido, CA. There were 10 family members, five of which have difficult dietary restrictions. Nathan Payne made us four different meals, ALL were delicious, AND he was able to accommodate ALL of our family’s dietary restrictions! Nathan was easy to work with and very accommodating. We would recommend him to anyone wanting a home chef, especially for a family vacation. We would definitely hire him again!

Plates by Payne, does a fantastic job at both in home private chef events, as well as meal prep and ready made catering. I've had the privilege of having experienced all of the different options that Plates by Payne offers, and can truly say I have not been disappointed by anything. My husband and I have had Plates by Payne prepare a gourmet Vegan meal for our friends in our home, we've had a delicious four course meal dropped off at our house for date night, and we've had fantastic meal prep dropped off at our house. Nathan and Kaitlin are fantastic and do such a good job of taking care of all the details for any event. Highly recommend this company.
