Hello students!
My name is Jessica, and I am an admissions counselor at Ashford University, helping non-traditional and adult students reach their academic goals by returning to school!
I also have experience teaching undergraduate students Research Methods in Psychology as a graduate teaching associate at San Diego State University, and as a liberal arts seminar student instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan University. In total, I have 3 years of experience working in higher education, and 4 years of experience working with kids and adolescents.
I am comfortable working with kids, as well as with adult learners.
I can be a great resource for learning and practicing elementary level subjects (including math!), middle and high school reading and writing, proofreading papers (and teaching you to proofread your own!), formatting APA style papers (high school and college), introductory psychology, as well as learning and practicing study skills and note taking.
I'm patient, kind, understanding, and fun! Contact me for more information.
I currently live in the Mission Valley area, but I am willing to travel.
Hope to see you soon!
Jessica
