- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Move Central bills hourly for local moves (3 hours min) and provides flat rates for long distance moves. Every move is unique and different, so please give us a call and we'll be able to determine the manpower you need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to provide with a quote, Move Central needs to ask some basic questions, like the zip codes moving from and moving to, how many bedrooms and how many square feet is the residence moving from? Is packing service required? Is storage in transit or long term storage needed? If there are stairs or elevators at the pick up or drop locations and what is the walking distance to from the truck to the residence? Usually, as soon as we get these answers, we are able to derive recommendations for how many movers and trucks are needed to complete the job efficiently. For residences of 2500+ sqf, we need to send one of our estimators for a free onsite estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
From 2010-2012 I worked as the president for the San Diego branch of another moving company with multiple locations. Since 2012 I've been running Move Central, Inc and we are the highly rated online on Yelp and other review sites.
