Daphne G. says, "This is not your typical pool maintenance review! A few weeks ago when the rains hit San Diego unusually hard, the crawlspace under my house completely flooded. The sump pump failed and there was at least a foot deep of standing water. This happened when the pandemic was about a month in so the flood felt like a major disaster. I contacted several plumbers to drain the water and fix the sump pump, but only got one response and they stood me up. I talked to my home insurance company and one of the representatives suggested I contact a pool maintenance company, given that draining the water was what was urgent. Brilliant! So this is where Balanced Pool and Spa comes in. Thankfully, Devin responded to my plea for help on Thumbtack and said he was willing to give it a try despite the fact that this was not the type of job he usually did. He came to my house later that day at the time he said he would, brought out his submersible pump, and DRAINED THE FLOOD. I was so relieved and thankful!!! And I’m sure I saved money too by not having a plumber do that part of the job. If your house ever floods and you need someone to drain it asap, I highly recommend Devin!!
