American stylish homes started out as a small one man business and over the years has grown into a deeply rooted business with projects all over the country. Although we have traveled the states providing our clients with exceptional service and have replaced flooring in countless houses, we decided to focus on our own backyard which happens to be Southern California. We furthered our specialization in flooring a couple years ago and it was the best decision. We have worked with over hundreds of families in hundreds of different properties, many of whose reviews can be seen here. We are licensed, bonded, and insured for over 2 millions for both commercial and residential properties in order to give our clients the best service. Mohammad’s crew did my entire upstairs floors in about two days. They look beautiful. Great care was taken to insure that each plank looked right with the surrounding ones and the lines ran from room to room seamlessly. I could not be happier with their work. Highly recommend.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree and civil engineering and a contractors license specializing in flooring. In addition I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have prior engineering experience, having been a civil engineer for over 20 years. 10 years ago I decided to change careers and become a contractor. From then I started replacing flooring on a daily basis and created my business around floor installation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend that they look at a professional’s reviews and also check their license. Licensed contractors have much more experience and are held to higher standards.
