I have an older home here in Carlsbad, CA that has had various roof repair work done over the years by three different contractors. Recently I had a small leak show up in one of the previously repaired areas. Roof leaks can be tricky and troublesome to locate many times... Obviously frustrated, I needed to locate a new roofing company to once and for all, locate and repair my most recent leak. Fortunately I found VetWorx on Thumbtack. First I noticed how many positive reviews they had. But once I met Matt and his wife and son who both work with him, I immediately saw several things: They were extremely polite and professional. They were great at communicating meeting times etc. And when those times came, they were prompt. My initial bid on the project was less than another contractor had given me and their investigation of the needed work was much more thorough. Once the project was started, they discovered that the problem was significantly less than anticipated. Consequently their initial bid was lowered significantly at Their suggestion. If you've hired contractors before, ask yourself, "Who does that... lowering the price once started?". If one wants to build a reputation for being honest, this is how they should do it. Suffice it to say that if you are in need of a solid, reliable roofing contractor, choosing VetWorx is a no brainer.

Matt is a pretty honest guy. He is very responsive, punctual and goes straight to the point. He coated the entire roof of my house, and extended its life give more years. Unlike the big companies always want you to get a new roof, Matt will be honest and won't rip your wallet I wish I could pick the five qualities for the five stars, but TT only lets me pick three. Mat and his son showed up right on time. They analyzed my leak problem on the roof and gave me their opinion, I was relieved to hear they could fix the corner where the drain was simply by cauking the cracks and patchng the corner very reasonably. I had been quoted that i needed a whole new roof! ???Not So They did a wonderful job!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We respond to interested parties immediately by Thumbtack message, text and/or phone call - normally within 30 minutes! Should we be selected to perform the work, we schedule at their earliest convenience. We then text an appointment reminder the day prior. Project fulfillment is managed by the owner to ensure top notch quality and communication that exceeds our client’s expectations. We are in the process of obtaining a contractors license and are limited by statute to a threshold for labor a materials.
