I recently had a small bathroom renovation done by Golden Shore Design & Build, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had previously done a partial renovation to the bathroom but was not completely happy with the results, so it was important to me that going through a full bathroom renovation this time around would get me the results that I envisioned. I met with several contractors prior to making the decision to go with Golden Shore Design & Build. In meeting with the Project Manager, Petra, during the initial consultation to discuss costs/budget and after reviewing photos of their previous work, I decided they matched what I was looking for. From the start, I felt that Petra was honest and set realistic expectations about the process, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that Golden Shore held my hand throughout the process, with Petra recommending tile vendors, accompanying me to look at materials, and picking up materials (thanks to her husband, Alex). Although I chose not to purchase materials from the recommended vendors, it was very helpful in the decision making process to be able to compare. Although the construction process had a few challenges (what construction doesn’t?) working with the HOA and plumbing work, Petra was communicative throughout and mitigated any problems that came up. Petra’s attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, coordinating with the various contractors and ensuring the project stayed on schedule. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, Petra was there every step of the way, providing her professional expertise, guidance and support. The team was also incredibly professional and attentive to detail, ensuring that every aspect was executed to perfection. Their work is outstanding and they were able to transform my outdated bathroom into a stylish and modern space! Overall, I highly recommend Golden Shore Design & Build for any bathroom renovation project – they exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely work with them again and trust they would do a fantastic job.

We did two projects with golden shore First one was an ADU In the back of our property It wasn’t easy because of the location w head to built it on But I have to say the the Comapny did a great job dealing with all the difficulties and each time provided a logical solution for the problem The second project was a full remodel to our existing home We love it The flow of work was on point The service was personal And we are enjoying our new home It’s been a pleasure working with those guys And we are recommending them to our friend and neighbors!

We've worked with various contractors over the decades with mixed results, so this time I got estimates only from companies with 5 stars on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. And it paid off. We had a bathroom shower stall with two problems: (a) a cracked fiberglass floor leaking below the shower pan and (b) a cramped shower space, only a 30-inch square. That's all we wanted fixed, no new sink, toilet, or floor. Alex, just like some of the other companies we assessed, was initially reluctant to take on only a partial remodel but in the end agreed to it. The old Rolling Stones song comes to mind, "You can't always get what you want, but you might just find you get what you need." I had wanted one-piece shower walls to minimize the amount of caulking, but such is no longer available. So Alex and Petra researched options for the shower walls and found excellent marble-esque composite panels that are just beautiful. Also, the copper feed lines in our 65+-year-old house were built into the slab, so I wanted to reroute them with new lines in the attic. Alex's team, headed by the exceptionally competent Rocky, was able to do that with no problem. They perfectly flecked and painted all the new and old wall surfaces. The end result is way better than we had anticipated. What we appreciate most is Alex's and Petra's dedication to customer satisfaction. As with any project, little unforeseen decisions crop up, and they ran everything by us first, wanting to ensure that we would be happy with the results. Even after the project was all done, they checked back to ensure we were fully satisfied, but we weren't -- the water pressure was too low for us. They immediately sent out Rocky who was able to adjust the fixtures to restore the water pressure to which we are accustomed. We really appreciate such follow-through, and that's the level of service that characterizes this company. They care
