I’ve had a great experience since working with downsouthk9 academy . I have a dog who was very hard to walked constantly pulled and I couldn’t ever get the pup out the house. After going to these classes with them I was able to finally walk my dog and have control of him. I’m continuing my training till this day and I can’t wait to continue.

I can't recommend Jesus enough as a dog trainer! He has been instrumental in helping my dog, Hank, excel in advanced obedience. From the very beginning, Jesus tailored his training methods to fit Hank's unique personality and needs, making each session both effective and enjoyable.
Under Jesus's guidance, Hank has not only mastered advanced commands but has also developed greater focus and enthusiasm for training. Jesus's clear communication and positive reinforcement techniques have transformed our practice sessions into fun bonding experiences.

Jesus is one of the best trainers I’ve had and my dog has gone through so many. Jesus truly
Understands how to analyze the dog and see what needs to be corrected during training. It’s super helpful having him and being able to send videos of my dogs progress for any corrections/tips. I highly recommend using Jesus!

Before we came to DownSouth K9 Academy, we considered getting rid of our dog because of his temperament issues. However, we had a friend of ours recommend Jesus's business so we could get our dog trained. Our lives have changed SO much ever since we came to DSK9. Jesus gave us the best tips and tricks to get things under control, while still being safe and intentional. It's only been about 2 1/2 months of consistent training and we are so happy with the progress our dog has made. We get to enjoy our dog and he is much happier. Shout out to Jesus for being the best trainer!!

Jesus’s knowledge of German Shepard Dogs was exactly what we were looking for. He is a great trainer! We had our dog with another company (which was terrible) before hiring Downsouth K9 Academy and we were so glad to have been recommended to DSK9 Academy. We choose the 3 week board and train which gave us the ability to train along with our dog. We highly recommend DSK9 Academy for good solid training.
