Very polite and responsive. They came at the most inconvenient time of evening for anyone to get a call for a job. I needed my refrigerator to be seen and repaired asap because I did not want to deal with the hassle of replacing/removing all of my groceries to place them in a cooler and have to wait until the next day. They identified what was wrong and then gave me my options and let me make my decision. They repaired the control board that is currently installed on my fridge and it was up and running about 15 minutes later. Stellar work. Quick turnaround. Great customer service and conversation. ☺️👍

After my original review (copied below), Speedmates contacted me and admitted their mistake in not offering a quote prior to conducting the service, and said that they'll try their best to re-train their technicians to provide a quote before executing the work. I was impressed by their candor, responsiveness and willingness to make things right. Other than the quote issue, their service was solid, so I plan to use them going forward for other appliance needs.
Original Review:
Very disappointed and would strongly not recommend using this service provider. The technician repaired the item (a gas dryer) without first giving me a quote; the cost came out to $160 for what turned out to be a simple repair that I otherwise would have declined given the disproportionately high cost.

Speedmates diagnosed our washing machine due to a burning smell. I originally thought that a belt needed to be replaced, but after running a diagnostic, Speedmates confirmed that nothing was wrong and that I had to avoid overloading. They were honest and only charged for the service call.
