About me.
I'm from Virginia and began acting in New York after finishing school at the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School. Upon moving to New York, I worked at William Morris Endeavor agency (Endeavor) and began to understand the business side of the industry.
After leaving William Morris Endeavor, I signed with Authentic Management and scored roles in independent films and notable television shows that aired on BET (First Wives Club, The Last One) to name a few. I am a student of Michael Chekhov, having always relied on these amazing techniques to build worlds for fully-lived characters.
My first love has been and will always be the stage, and I decided to move to San Diego where I have starred in productions, Monsters of The American Cinema, The Glass Menagerie, The Color Purple and the upcoming La Jolla Playhouse production, Primary Trust. In my short time in San Diego, I’ve been nominated by the critics for my work in Glass Menagerie (Craig Noel Award, Outstanding Featured Performance in a Play) and BroadwayWorld Awards (Best Performer) for Monsters of The American Cinema.
As an artist, it's important to understand the business side as well, which I'd like to help you navigate.
Acting is an incredibly healing and rewarding experience, and it would be an honor to help you explore the amazing rewards that can come with taking on one of the most challenging and rewarding professions.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kirk
