They do what they say, and honored their bid to the penny. Extremely punctual. No pressure in the sales process, which was nice compared to a large competitor, who was so aggressive we cancelled our bid with them after meeting with Vlad from River City Windows, who answered all of our question honestly and patiently. If ultra slick presentations, fancy company trucks, printed polos, constant contact, and fancy folders are your kink, these are not your guys, but if you want a good, honest, local company to do a good job, they are the right choice. While they don’t proactively communicate much, they are *extremely responsive to any questions you have and answer the phone or return calls in a very timely manner. There are a few very minor blemishes on a couple window frames, likely from transport or the installation, but to be very clear, far fewer issues than we had a decade ago with a similar product on a different home from a major Sacramento company, who was unpleasant, rude, and expensive, and downright hostile when any dissatisfaction was expressed. I think expecting absolute perfection form a retrofit of a 40 year old house is unrealistic, and I think that the job River City Windows did was well above average, honest, and I have every reason to believe any concerns I have would be answered with a simple phone call. I definitely recommend them.

These guys are super reliable, quality service, quality product @ a very good price. They installed a total of 15 windows for me and these was done within 4 hours. Vacuum and cleaned the whole place. I have already book them for my next project. I strongly recommend them.

Wow, what can I say about River City Windows... I had to have two sliding glass door replaced at my house because my son threw a dart through one and they were old so I replace both. I went around to several contractors that specialized in window installation as well as Home Depot and Lowes. First I was just going to have the glass replaced but that was about what a new one would cost. I tried thumbtack and several people called but did not show up to my house. River City called and came out and provided a quote and he suggested Milgard Artison as the manufacture, even with the top of the line product he was by far less expensive than anyone I talked to. We went with River City and the crew showed up this week and had both sliding glass doors installed within 3 hours, everything was professional from start to final clean up. I am very happy to see a company that prides themselves with quality and craftsmanship. I so glad that we went with the Milgard and I would recommend River City to anyone in the Sacramento and surrounding area.

They did a nice quality job on my windows. I appreciated how they checked I'm with me through the day when issues/questions arose. Additionally, when it appeared the work might take more than one day they brought in additional workers to finish the job in the one day they had quoted.

The gentleman from River City Windows was phenomenal!! I did not get work done but he came out and told us the problem and how it should be fixed. He was honest and very knowledgeable. I am a real estate agent and I did not need him for this job, but I will continue to reach out to River City Windows for future jobs.
