He is a patient and trustworthy instructor and is excellent with children. The style he teaches is excellent for self defense and people will feel a real family atmosphere working out here. I have known Robert for about 35 years and he has always been dedicated to his art and to his students and is held in high esteem by other instructors across the country.

I have been working with Sensei Rob for well over a year. I do a Zoom Kickboxing class and it works out wonderfully. He also has a nice backyard for outside/distancing for all types of classes. My 4 yr. old grandson works out with Rob for private kickboxing classes and there is also covered space so, weather is never an issue. We are able to enter this area by gate. Rob is professional and a awesome instructor. We will continue to promote and support this outside dojo due to the quality and value it adds to our life at this difficult time.

I have known Mr Olsen for over 20 years, both as a student and a friend. He trained me from white to black belt. He was always professional in our training. You will never be given a new rank for just a fee, you will learn the art, and when ready you will be tested for your next rank, as it should be. There are too many schools that are just in it for the money. Olsen Family Karate is not one of these. You will always get what you put into your training, and be a better person for it.
