Prompt response, polite and professional. Daryl gave me the lowest price out of 5 quotes and said he could come the next day. I don’t always go off of the lowest price, so the excellent reviews and history of jobs taken is really what I look for. I’ve been quite impressed with the help I’ve gotten from Thumbtack. Would absolutely hire again, and highly recommend that everyone else do so, too! I had a giant above-ground pool in my backyard that needed to be taken apart and removed. Daryl responded right away and immediately gave me a reasonable price quote and got me on his calendar for just two days later. He was punctual, friendly, professional -- and FAST! He and one other guy got that ugly pool dismantled and off my property in about two hours. Wow! Thank you, Daryl!!!

Do not assume someone has a problem just for asking questions. Very poor customer service skills.
Quick story: I’m in the process of moving. Could not find available movers, decided to get rid of all my old stuff and just buy new items. Initially decided to junk my items. Placed my items on places like FB marketplace and Offerup. These items were going away quickly. Updated D&M as the process went on as more and more people came to pick up the items that I no longer needed. All that was left was a broken tv and an old cat tower. Asked for a quote for these two items, and all of a sudden I “had a problem” with every price given. I thought the purpose of this app was to receive quotes and pick the company that best suits you. Luckily, I decided to go with a company I used in the past and almost forgot about! I would not recommend D&M simply off their poor communication skills.
