I loved working with Ben. He has wonderful ideas and looks beyond the project to give you the best end result. My original project idea was to put in artificial turf and create a space for my dog to play. We expanded my project to take care of concrete issues in the space and fix drainage. I appreciated his direct candor, responsiveness, and professionalism throughout the project. When I can afford more work, he will be the first person I call! My dog, Betty, loves the new space too!

We are so lucky to have found Ben on this app! We wanted to expand our patio and make our backyard low maintenance and usable. We initially had ideas of what we wanted and Ben made that a reality for us. He helped us create a functional space that met all of our needs. He installed/created the following for us: Concrete pavers, to expand our patio while keeping the mid century modern vibe our home has while creating more usable space. Crushed granite in half of our yard to make it clean, reduce the dirt and dust we were battling everyday. New concrete siding on both of our side yards New concrete driveway, which allows us to park multiple vehicles at one time. Irrigation system that waters our planter boxes and trees Drainage system so our home is protected from flooding And my fave, my turf area where you can lounge and read (and no watering required!) Ben and Francisco are wonderful to work with. We feel lucky that not only they are super experienced in their fields but also are nice people, how often do you get both!? :) also, all of Ben’s teammates (concrete crew, various other crews that visited our home) were friendly, hard working and nice people, we couldn’t ask for more! We have more plans to upgrade our home and are excited to work with Ben and Francisco again. Ben is extremely knowledgeable, creative, honest, hardworking, reliable, friendly and most important..great sense of humor! Thank you Ben! M&G

Ben and his crew did such a great job with our fence. We are very happy with the quality of work! Before I found Ben I had so many people come out but no one can ever give me any solution regarding the soil was sinking along the fence line my neighbor did. Once Ben saw the issue he had a solution for it right away. Ben explained every steps needed to be taken to complete the project. We will definitely hire Ben again in the future!! Ben came out to meet me and discuss a possible project in my backyard. Ben was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He was responsive in answering all of my questions and concerns. How did you get started doing this type of work?
At my mom’s side while her partner used a VHS camcorder to record home video we called “This Old Hudson House”
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I liked the horizontal gate and wall in my projects above. I can geek out on the details when it’s a showpiece so it took a few days. Plus is was a tricky out-swing gate so I had to change the hinges.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask all your questions. Be sure you’re tracking what the builder is saying on a visual level. If you think someone is in over their head, go with your gut. Those are the folks that usually don’t show back up.
