***I hope all future customers read through this and all the other 5 star reviews noticing we have 0 damage/incident reviews.*** Hello Sonny, we appreciate your honest feedback on our company. We are saddened to hear that you had damage to your items as we take extra precaution for this to not happen. As we all know there are two sides to every story. The fridge was "damaged" when pulling it out of a very tight space. Our movers explained to you that they did not feel comfortable moving the fridge out as it was a tight space, no give in between as it was the wrong size for the location. The damage could've been done by whomever put the fridge in. You and your wife was there watching and everyone agreed that observed how the dime sized dent happened as everyone agreed it did not bump anything. You did not report these damages until the movers left. However, per our excellent customer service we deducted a great amount off your invoice, even though we have insurance to cover it, we did not feel it would be right for you to have to wait on insurance. The flooring: Our company has a no "dragging policy" which means we do not drag any items unless it has protective blankets underneath and e slowly slide it if it is entirely to heavy to lift. We had 4 movers onsite, including the owner, and all of them stated that the damage was done by you and your wife when you two made the decision to drag your Pac Man gaming machine, with no assistance at all from the Budget Hauling team, across the room on your brand new hard wood floor. Again, you did not report these damages until the movers left. On this day, we sent 4 movers as the customer only wanted to pay for 3 movers for a 2 story 3000+ square foot house, which included very heavy gun safe, exercise equipment, etc. We made two stops, and included 4th mover for free. If we sent three movers, the move would have went on for longer and more cost. We also did not charge for the additional mileage to make the additional stops. We also cover Sacramento locally and traveled to Stockton for our normal rate on the weekend. All that for free. Safety measures: Our team works together and very safe. While they were trying to move the safe, you and your wife walked right in there way and the safe fell on one of our movers, where all three movers had to help lift it off of him. When professional movers are moving your items, the best tip we give is to just allow them to do what they are specialize to do as they do this everyday. At the end of your move, you tipped the movers, however refused to pay the company until your already highly discounted invoice got revised. Again, you did not report these damages until the movers left. The movers got paid, you saved hundreds of dollars on your move, the move was very successful, our company did not make anything off of your move in the end and we still get a bad review? Why did you tip the movers if they did a 2 star job? 3000+ square foot house with stairs and both addresses in Stockton CA, multiple trips, 4 movers and 6 hours of time, for under $1000 invoice? Our cost for 4 movers normally is $260/hour with truck. That is $1,560 for your move and that's without the mileage added. What we charge for 4 movers, is what the competitor charges for 2-3 movers. And we include the truck as well. The competitor would have charged you 2k-3k even with the damage done. You are welcome Sonny.
