I met with five pool removal contractors including Chris Lattuada. He stood out amid the group because he carefully listened to the details of the project, clearly understood the depth of the work, and took time to weigh all of the elements in play (the property layout, the proximity of the house foundation, the future landscape plan) and was able to communicate the potential long term impact of pool removal on our house foundation. He created a detailed plan and scheduled the work to be done in a realistic, timely manner. Throughout the project, Chris conducted himself as a well-experienced professional. He consistently arrived early, made sure his men and machinery were ready to begin on time, and treated my home, family, and neighborhood with respect. When minor concerns came up during the course of the work, Chris brought them and the best and most efficient solutions to my attention. It was clear from the first through the last day of the project that Chris cared about the quality of his and his men’s work and the success of the project. When the project was complete, I am extremely happy with the results and 100% satisfied with Chris.

Chris dropped by the house the day after we submitted the request. He talked us through the process, which included payment options, schedules, inspections, equipment drop-off, and the level of effort and support the project would require. His professionalism and responsiveness made our decision easier. I submitted the deposit the next day, and Chris brought out the water pump to drain the pool. The following week, with the pool drained, Chris started working on the initial demo and preparing for the county inspection. He worked alone the first two days, brought his crew in on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, and by Wednesday, the project was complete. NorCal Ram Jack and crew, especially Chris, were responsive to our needs, careful with the work, and professionally completed the job weeks before we expected it to be done. I put sod in this morning, and in 10 days, we went from a 20-year-old worn-out pool to a beautiful green backyard! If you are considering this type of work, do not hesitate to call Nor Cal Ram Jack, and if you are lucky, you will get Chris Lattuada to manage your project!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There’s an initial phone conversation to determine whether the project, client, and company are a good match if it seems so then we can move on to a visit at the property. Which can be a confirmation of an over the phone “FaceTime “ bid for a handyman or demolition job leading right into the start of the job if so discussed. I will work out of town on some types of projects. In certain areas.

We have an A engineering license as well as a B license for this company. Plus years of structural work experience.
