I am a devoted musician and singer. My capabilities have allow me to perform professionally in many venues around the world. I am passionate. I learn new songs and i compose new songs every week. As a female guitarist and singer, I have experienced the magic of music in many levels, in many languages and with many talents that I have the fortune to share the stage with. I am a twice winner of the SAMMIES Awards in Sacramento, 2012 as an Outstanding Latin Artist, and in 2016 as a World Musician. Being able to create music and to bring the joy and emotion to people is the best part of my job. No two events are the same, and many of my friends were once my clients. I connect with people, I establish a relationship that they feel comfortable with. I work with my client's wishes and desires of music. My work is to make my clients happy and satisfied of what I do. I work very well with people. I am easy to communicate, easy to organize with. My clients are always my priority and that big smile, a big thank you and a new friendship is always my biggest compensation.

We first heard Dinorah sing in a local Mexican restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. It was just Dino and her guitar. She was there to provide background music and "ambiance," but after her first song, she had our complete attention. We needed a musician for a party we were hosting and asked her about her availability. She said she would love to provide solo background music for our dinner and offered that she had a band (Crosswinds) that could provide music for dancing after dinner. We "auditioned" the band for our party at the Fugu Lounge, and knew immediately that they were right for us. They can play everything from classic 80s rock to contemporary tunes to salsa and a lot of more traditional Latin music. Their song list is extensive, and they were even willing to learn and perform a special song for our party. Dino's voice is incredible...powerful and expressive, sassy and rich, confident and spontaneous. She is impressively talented and very beautiful. It is fun to watch the band back her up and support her unique star quality. They clearly enjoy performing together and combine to make a great sound. All of them are excellent musicians in their own right. So, obviously, we hired Dinorah and Crosswinds to play at our dance party. People danced and loved the event...many asked us, "Where did you find this band? They are awesome!" I recommend them wholeheartedly. Since our party in July, we have been able to get over to the Fugu Lounge on several other occasions to see our charming new friend, Dino, perform. We are never disappointed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dinorah for many different kinds of shows. She and Crosswinds always deliver crowd pleasing performances. Her music is fun and heartfelt! Her vibe is always so positive and their grooves never fail to get everyone dancing. I've done shows with her in cabaret settings such as the Penthouse at the historic Elk's Tower in Sacramento, or as a outdoor act performing at the Sacramento Zoo's music series, or in nightclubs like Harlow's where they participated in a 100th birthday tribute to Frank Sinatra. The band can take any song and make it their own, infusing each with their distinct Latin sound. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to understand exactly what he/she is looking for on a performer. I like to cover very detail about their wishes on music and make sure that they were understood.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied in the IMBA Fine Arts School in Mexico City. I formed one of the first Female Mariachi Bands in Los Angeles. My musical experience is over 30 years. I joined my first band at the age of 14 in Mexico City and I have been performing non stop ever since.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
At age of 14 as a student, I joined my first band in Mexico City, and I started working professionally with them. I have been making music and getting an income of it for over 30 years.
