- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have to charge for my time, that includes driving and research time. I take a thorough look at project; test, measure, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations, regardless of whether I’m hired or not. This is why I set a minimum price to visit a site. I will often waive the travel fee if I am hired
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to understand their goal so I can find the most effective and cost efficient way of achieving that goal. For troubleshooting jobs I have a process that requires an understanding of every issue, what happened, where and when; I figure out the why.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years in the trade. I have a CA General Electrician License which was earned through a 5-year state approved apprenticeship program.
