Special Needs Sports and Tutoring provides private sports instructors (swimming, soccer, basketball, fitness/yoga, boxing and much more) and private academic tutors to work with you at any preferred location of your choice or at a nearby training facility/field. Our athletic and academic services are individualized and tailored to your exact needs and specifications; we are also community-based in order to help clients with societal integration and self-determination. We are non-exclusive so we support and accommodate a diverse range of disabilities such as Autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy to name a few. We have vast experience working with Regional Centers/FMS throughout California Our highly qualified and vetted Academic Tutors have the following background: *minimum 5+ years training experience in the field *academic tutors have relevant certifications/licenses such as Registered Behavior Technician, Certified Special Education Teacher (CSET), Bachelor/Masters Degrees in Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, Early Childhood Education and much more *tutoring subjects include Reading, Writing and Language Arts, Behavior Management, Communication, Social Skills, Adaptive Math/Science, Physical Education/Health and Wellness, Art/Music and more Our highly qualified and vetted Sports Instructors have the following background: *minimum 5+ years training experience in the field *coach at high school varsity and junior varsity teams winning state and national championships *provide training and guidance for student athletes preparing for their college sports careers *played D1/D2 in college, semi-professional and professional teams *teach at Sports Academics, AAU Programs, Summer Camps and Clinics *educated with advanced degrees in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Sports Management *relevant experience and/or training to work with Special Needs clients Special Needs Sports and Tutoring puts a strong emphasis on individualized instruction based on each student’s specific needs and goals.
