Introduction
I run a pet care business that prides iteself in providing quality service and experience for the familys of the bay area. There are 2 of us who work diligently and effectively to work with your work schedule and the schedule of your family members (4 legged friends). We offer daily visits, walks, and overnight care. I love cats and dogs because they help make our lives richer and rewarding. Every animal is unique and they deserve to be treated with unconditional love and respect. I have so much gratitude for people who welcome animals of all kinds into their lives and invest the time needed to provide those animals with a home. I feel honored to be able to be apart of that progress. I have 4 cats of my own (no dogs) but I have over 10 years experience working with dogs of all temperament and ages.

I can on say enough good things about Rebecca. She’s communicative, professional, and really cares for our sweet pup. If you love your dog, Rebecca is the person to hire!

Details: 1 dog • 2 - 10 years old • Medium (26 - 40 lbs) • 30 minutes (standard) • No preference • My home, venue, etc.

Rebecca at Your Family Pet Sitter, etc. is wonderful. Very professional and friendly (nice) - sent updates and pictures of the babies while I was away. My babies really liked her and even with the need to give meds to my Jack twice a day, she did an excellent job and there were no issues with his condition. I highly recommend Your Family Pet Sitter & Dog Walker! Will hire her again on our next trip!

Details: Cat • 2 pets • Giving food and water • Changing litter or bedding • Dispensing medication • Short visit (30 minutes) • My home, venue, etc.

Rebecca was such a great find for our family and especially our pets. We needed a morning sitter for our elderly dog and shy cat. Rebecca took exceptional care of both of them all while keeping us well informed with text messages and pictures. We felt very comfortable having her care for our pets and we look forward using her again.

Details: 1 dog • 10 years or older • Extra Small (1 - 15 lbs) • 15 minutes • No preference • Feeding • My home, venue, etc.

Rebecca is a great pet care-person. I trust her with my pet and in my home. My cat loves her. And I think she would have tremendous rapport with any pet she cared for. She is responsive and dependable and I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you hire her you won’t regret it.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Volunteer director for a nonprofit group

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I became a volunteer director at a cat rescue while I was doing my college studies and ended up spending more time at the rescue than at school. I soon figured out that I wanted to do something that involved animals but wasn’t sure what. College became increasingly expensive and someone at the rescue suggested I start a pet sitter business. I didn’t think that was a real job but I soon learned how wrong I was.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you feel comfortable sharing your concerns without judgment. Your pet care provider should feel like a dear friend or family member.
