FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My resume is very linear. I grew up in retail (menswear) then worked in retail for over ten years. I managed several cosmetic counters for 5 years of 10. I went on to become a modeling agent for 8 years. I developed many careers of models working today as well as some high profile celebrities. I understand development and branding. I get you found, seen and remembered.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wish I could say I thought of becoming a stylist. I share with clients "when you are told something long enough" Other's see what you can not. It is how I became a stylist. I am so grateful that everyone saw my innate creativity. All of what I know as the family parlor trick's never knowing one day it would become my career where I would get a ton of press, travel the country, cover Los Angeles Fashion Week for ******************, have my own radio show called Fashion 411, it's NEVER just about the clothing. Nope, I never saw styling coming. I simply use the gifts given to me and pass the baton to you. I am your light your biggest fan. I get you to open up and become who you are meant to be!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I love what I do. It's shape-shifting - it's coaching -it's clothing on 10. When you use your wardrobe as navigation. your life is easier and the feedback is instant. Automatic compliments fall out of mouths of people you don't even know. It’s that instant after we work together!
