Introduction

Minimum fees are waived for events held December, January & February. As we head into summer booking time, we are offering a 10% discount for all events held in 2025, when you book by January 31. Additional 5% discount for parties of 150 people or more. Serving all of Southern California, we have 20+ years experience providing elevated comfort food, using local seasonal ingredients and french-trained technique. My roots are southern, yet I have lived and travelled around the world, tasting and learning along the way. We offer an extensive menu and affordable packages to help begin the selection process. We will work with you to add dishes and services to create the catering experience you desire, while keeping your budget in mind.

I used Hickory Lane for my brother’s baby shower, and they were the only company willing to deliver and cater to Barstow Military base. Their customer service was excellent, and they offered a great variety of options. We had so much food left over! Overall, we were really happy with the service, and I’d definitely recommend them.

We chose Hickory Lane Catering randomly online and by reviews. I had never used a caterer before and wasn’t sure what to expect. We could not have been more pleased. Julie and her staff were so professional, kind, and helpful. The food was excellent. I did not have to worry about a thing, but was able to fully enjoy our 50th Anniversary celebration. I would highly, highly recommend them.

We were absolutely thrilled with Hickory Lane Catering! The owner, Julie, was easy to work with, and her passion for great food and service are truly outstanding. She created a very special menu for my daughter Jasmine's wedding celebration dinner, which included some vegan options (because Jasmine's vegan) and Japanese food (because her husband, Yoshi, is Japanese). Julie and her team also provided a terrific bar service for the event (loved the single Mojito I had), and champagne for the toast. All was done with a can-do attitude, high-level of professionalism, and finesse! I'd hire Julie again in a heartbeat!

We try to meet any budget and offer flexible options to help you get the most for your money without compromising the integrity of the food.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a few questions and provide pre-set menus to get started, then build menu options for you based on your preferences. From there we make adjustments and add special touches.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first educators were my mother who baked and my father who mastered the grill and smoker. Followed by all the aunties who didn't mind a little girl asking them how they did THAT. As an adult, I completed a course in french cooking techniques and am a certified holistic nutritional consultant. When I travel, I take cooking courses to learn about local cuisine and techniques.
