Scam!! I scheduled a deep cleaning of my house, what a joke they did nothing but make more of a mess. I have attached pictures. They took my payment and ran. So disappointed.

I liked the cleaning but I think this was more of a organizing and wipe and cleaning Vaccum and sweeping situation and even that was kinda done not to my expectations but the folding and and the kitchen and bedroom were done pretty well the owner did reach out and give me a partial refund which I appreciate and have offered to come back out but I started to fix them myself

UPDATE: Upon receiving the review, they called me and sincerely apologized for the poor service and offered to make it right. She refunded me the money and additionally offered to come back to do a free cleaning as well. I am satisfied with the resolution and follow-up. TL;DR Poor work ethic and quality, poor customer service, bait and switch pricing, company goes by another name (Fresh Start). First time they sent a male over. I told them I prefer a female since my pregnant sister would be there alone and she wasn’t comfortable being alone at home with a male stranger, so they rebooked with a female named Marsha. I was looking for a good, reliable cleaner to hire regularly since my previous one retired after a car accident. I went with Maid in Heaven based on their high reviews and ignored the bad reviews. That was my error. When I booked the cleaning they quoted me at $124; when I booked them it went up to $300 (1800 square foot home. They said they charge by square feet.) They said it would be 2 people and take ~3 hours (booked a standard cleaning since I’d had a regular cleaner so it’s pretty clean). They sent a woman named Marsha who did the absolute LAZIEST job cleaning. I was at work when the cleaning was done so my pregnant sister was there to let Marsha in, and she sent me photos and videos after Marsha left. I came home that evening and took my own photos and videos of all the areas she neglected - take a look. I guess she figured since the owner wasn’t there and my pregnant sister wouldn’t go behind her to check her work before getting paid, she could just do the minimum. Pics: kitchen floor not mopped, dust on windows, dust on floor and door, cobwebs, microwave not cleaned, bathroom tile and shower fixtures not cleaned (I wiped the fixtures to show its not permanent soap scum, she just didn’t bother), couldn’t bother to replace trash covers after emptying trash bins, and grease on stove that she didn’t bother to clean. Oh and the pics have a time stamp of the date of cleaning in case she tries to say that was a week later or something.
