There are many personal attacks in this review, but I’m going to do my best to focus on what actually happened during my time with Chris. To be honest, this review is heartbreaking because I bent over backwards for this client, communicated clearly with him and communicated the process in detail before we began to work together. This is also not the first uncalled for message I have received from him. Chris hired me to choose paint colors for his new home. At this point, they had not moved in. I offered to go over to the home and view the space before quoting him, for free. I spoke to the realtor and the previous homeowners, spent about 20 minutes there taking photos and getting an idea of the lighting, existing flooring and fixtures of the home, etc. His complaints about the current home were that the colors didn’t make sense, they were too cold and too dark and that it felt like nothing went together. Because of that and because of the lighting and current fixtures in the home, I let him know that my plan was to select some warm white paint colors for the space to not only bring a cohesive feel throughout the space, but to brighten up those dark and dingy areas of the home. This was also the best selection based on current tile and carpet, which at this point in time was going to remain in the home. I then explained the process to Chris, letting him know that I would be selecting colors based on his preferences and then would order samples, that I would then take back to the home and take photos of in the space, so that final color selections could be made. He let me know that they had decided to change the flooring and after agreeing on a price, I let Chris know that I would also help him to choose a color of flooring after we had selected and agreed on paint colors together. After receiving the samples as planned, I went back to the home and spent about an hour there working to select the final colors. I sent him an update letting him know exactly when to expect to hear from me and that I needed his current address in order to send him his samples He did not send his address but his next response a few days later was letting me know that he had gone ahead and chose the flooring. Because we had agreed not to select flooring color until after we selected the paint, I let him know we needed to shift up the process just a bit and I was going to need him to send me some photos of the flooring along with the samples, to avoid any sneaky undertones in the white paint. After receiving his address, I sent the samples and I emailed him the preliminary colors, explaining that I needed photos of the flooring so that we would be able to move forward with making final selections. I never received any photos from him. Then I got this review. We were not even done in the process and still had an entire feedback phase where he would be able to request new color options. This review does not speak of my true character, but all the reviews below these from over the past 6 years do. My clients know that I work hard for them, that I always do my best and that I am always operating in full integrity.

Here at Dani Alexander Interiors we offer both full-service interior design and e-design. This allows customers with different budgets to choose the service that best fits them and their needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step together is what I call a Discovery Call. This complimentary 15-minute call is a chance for us to connect and talk through your goals, needs, questions, and budget. Whether you’ve never worked with a designer before or you’ve done this a few times, this call helps us both see if we’re the right fit to bring your vision to life. If you’re new to interior design, I’ll walk you through how the process works and what kind of investment to expect. If you’ve worked with designers before, this is a great way to learn more about how I work and what it's like to collaborate with Dani Alexander Interiors. We'll talk about the design, process, pricing, etc. and I'm happy to answer any questions about working together at that time. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in interior design and interior architecture from an interior-design accredited school, The University of Arkansas. I am trained in both residential and commercial interior design.
