FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a tax preparer, examine their certifications and experience. Someone who just does it on the side will be less experienced and more likely to make mistakes. Someone with a higher certification will have a better breadth of knowledge and will be better able to handle complex issues. Alternatively, if you only have a simple return, someone with a lesser license (CRTP, PTIN) will be all you need and probably cheaper.
