Avi from Wooden Onyx was excellent! I hired him to fix a railing on our front steps that had some wood rot / moisture damage from water collecting on it. Even though this was a small job, Avi was very thorough and walked me through his recommended approach. He was extremely responsive during the hiring process and on the execution of the work. He did an excellent job of replacing the rotted section and installing a new redwood handrail and made sure it was sealed off correctly so no future moisture could creep in. He worked efficiently and made sure I was pleased with the work. I’m very satisfied with his work and would be happy to use him again for future projects. He’s also a very easy to talk and we had a good conversation while he went about the job and provided some insight on how to keep the railings in good condition moving forward. 👍

It was such a pleasure working with wooden Onyx. Avi was prompt, professional and got the job done w/i 1 wk of contacting him. I was grateful for his openness to use some materials we had and for his flexibility to problem solve with ease and great design. I am so happy Avi helped me rebuild the staircase my father built 50yrs ago! This one will last another 100yrs! 👍. Dad would be proud!

Avi did a fantastic job renovating our old wooden staircase leading to the house. He came up with a solution to protect the wood with metal, found the exact right paint and spend multiple rounds discussing the best options for us. He is super reliable, efficient and does great work. Will hire Avi again.

I am so glad I chose Wooden Onyx to do my pergola. Avi was so professional and responsive. He could see my vision and he is quite artistic. He arranged for me to see one that he had done and we shook hands on the spot. The results are beautiful and it was really quick. He and his crew cleaned up beautifully when they were finished.
